Darkness isn’t just something around you; it’s something in you. We try to ignore it, manage it, or hide it, but Jesus says He is the Light of the World, and that changes everything. In John 7-9, we see that His light does not just comfort, it exposes our sin, reveals the lies we believe, and meets us in our brokenness. This is not just about getting out of the dark; it is about being changed by the Light and sent back into it.
