John 15:1-5

If you were to take a poll and ask a simple question, “Who is Jesus?” you would probably get a multitude of answers. In fact, if you asked a thousand people their opinions about Jesus, you would probably get a thousand responses. In the end, what really matters is not what other people say about Jesus, but what Jesus says about Himself. This is why we are so excited to start our series called “I Am: Jesus in His Own Words.” In this series, we’ll look at seven statements in the Gospel of John where Jesus says, “I am.” We will listen in on several different conversations in which Jesus makes very specific, far-reaching, and even outrageous “I am” statements about himself.
