“Mom? Dad? Angelica? Someone open the door!”

I knocked, rang the doorbell, banged on the windows but nothing. I didn’t have the keys to my house because someone was always home. I should have probably just sat on my doorstep and waited but instead I decided to go to my neighbor’s house. It was a weird place by the way – the windows were tinted and it was very hard to see what was going on in there. I’d only seen my neighbor – a middle aged man – about four times. I supposed it was a good chance to go meet the guy.

This decision changed my life and caused a whole bunch of crazy things to happen – stick with me here because this is nuts.

I knocked on my neighbor’s door but heard nothing. I went to the window and heard some weird mumbling noises. I pressed my eyes on the glass to see what was making the noise and I noticed that my neighbor was dressed in a black cloak and he seemed to be performing some weird kind of ritual. Suddenly he glanced at me and frowned. In a few seconds he came to the front door and opened it.

“What are you doing here? What do you want?”

“My house is locked and I can’t get inside so I figured I’d come to say hi. What are you doing?”

“A magic ritual.”

“Hahahaha!”
