My school used to hold loads of dances. My friends would always be on the dancefloor, surrounded by boys, but I preferred to stay on the side drinking punch. It’s not that I wasn’t pretty, I knew I was just as pretty as my friends, I just didn’t care about boys. Like, at all. When I saw my friends with their boyfriends, I gagged. They all looked super gross to me. But that’s mostly because my friends had and have super bad taste. I was at a school dance one day when they finally convinced me to talk to a boy.
