Genesis 3:6

The woman saw that the tree had fruit that was good to eat, nice to look at, and desirable for making someone wise. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

  1. Adam was there, but was not heard
  2. Are you silent when you should be speaking?
    1. Has your voice become a mumble in your house
    2. It is time you us, you and I to stand up and use our voices to effect change in the world. ….Whoa Monts, that is a tall order, well let’s just start at home. Do not leave the discipline of the children to the woman only, do not leave the decision making process to the women only. WHY? Because God has place you in a distinctive place as the head of the household, the priest for your family. It is you who are supposed to be going to God to get instruction for your family. Then you share those instructions with them.
    3. Adam ate, then hid
      1. He did not embrace his identity as the ruler that God created him for. Brothers we cannot forsake our place to rule.
        1. (Genesis 1:26-27 Then God said, “Let us make humans in our image, in our likeness. Let them rule the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the domestic animals all over the earth, and all the animals that crawl on the earth.”27 So God created humans in his image.In the image of God he created them.He created them male and female.)
        2. Pray for courage to stand up and be vocal when it is necessary in our home, in our community, in the world.
