Today on the podcast we're breaking down the 2020 film "I Care a Lot," directed by J Blakeson. "I Care a Lot" follows Marla Grayson, a court appointed legal guardian for the elderly who uses her position in order to drain the savings of those under her guardianship. Things take a turn when one of the wards under her care turns out to be the mother of a Russian mob boss who understandably isn’t too happy about someone stealing all of his mother's money. "I Care a Lot" is an allegory for corporate greed and blurs the line between what is moral or immoral when it comes to surviving under capitalism.
