Kailey Newkirk // How we treat ourselves and our bodies matters because our actions and mindsets impact those around us, even if we think they’re harmless. We are all members of the body of Christ—the global Church—and every member is important to God. We look at life through the wrong lens sometimes. By looking through the lens of God’s love for us, we see the significance of willingly laying down our preferences for the sake of the body of Christ. If we look at every relationship, every interaction, and every liberty that we have through the lens of the gospel, it tells us that yes, we are free—but we can't value freedom over love. Yes, we are free, but if my freedom hurts you, then it actually hurts me too.
