I Corinthians: To the Distracted Church - Week 3

Listen Later

Kailey Newkirk // Sometimes, we just want a definitive answer to life’s burning questions. If Paul in his letter to the Corinthians argues that there is absolute truth, shouldn’t there always be clear answers? Not always. Acting out of knowledge is different than acting out of love. Just because something is correct doesn’t always mean it’s the best—not when it hurts people. We have to take responsibility for our choices and actions. To be truly good and wise, we must love God and those around us. Choices and actions can be justified not by knowledge but by evidence of love.
