Atticus Shaffer is an actor best known for his starring role in ABC's sitcom, The Middle. He has also been apart of the movies Hancock and Frankenweenie. Atticus was destined for storytelling, have been named after the lawyer, Atticus Finch, in To Kill a Mockingbird. Shaffer has type four osteogenesis imperfecta, a condition involving a defect in type 1 collagen, which causes fragile bones, and short stature as he is 4' 8" tall. While that might have caused others to stay in the shadows, Shaffer has succeeded by stepping out and being confident in himself and his abilities.
