Francesca Simone is the lead guitarist for musical artists Beyonce and Kehlani. She went viral for her performance with Beyonce at Coachella in 2018. Simone's parents took her to a Santana concert when she was younger and immediately fell in love with the guitar. She's performed in front of crowds upwards of 100,000 people, but she almost didn't play in front of anyone. Three summers ago, in 2015, she sat in her mother's house in Washington, DC and considered a career change from music, after few opportunities were offered to her. She had incredible training at top programs, but nobody called. That is, until Beyonce's music director saw a video Francesca had posted online. Now, she's toured the world and just released her own song, Still, which premiered on Billboard. She didn't quit, and now she's achieving the success she dreamed about as that young girl watching Santana.
