I remember hearing about JC Penney declaring bankruptcy earlier in the year, yet I still drive past one of their locations. This got me to wondering about bankruptcy and I realized that it can mean more than just a company going out of business. Today we seek to understand bankruptcy and bailouts, and look for a better way forward.
