Oh dear... the year of covid pandemic state. For me and i'm sure for many - one of the hardest ones.
Wandering, loneliness and friends - this occurs to my mind as first motives after all these years. But most of it is also sound!
As for the sound here - the metallic staircase - it was recorded at (then) friend's place. Dark and haunting- it represents the energy of the city and the night forces in my ears.
The tittle of the work is a reference to Slobodan Tišma. 2 alternative names for Novi Sad and Belgrade - the parts of the video happening in that order.
A cliche of a kind* as someone else wrote in a novel "The province is mechanically cut away from the capitol... in other news..."
As like those cities are special in their way, but there are so many other places to visit which are interesting as well.
