I didn't Know That, Did You?

Listen Later

How much store do you put on what you have? do you allow it to create the persona by which you identify who you are?

Interesting questions I thought, because I don't think that we associate consciously the things that we have in our life with who we think we are, but we do for sure subconsciously. If we didn't then why is it when things are not doing so well in our career when we don't have the money to buy the stuff we want, to pay our bills, take holidays we want to take, do we often beat ourselves up, and have self-talk that tells us we are not worthy, what a looser we are, why if this didn't apply would we say things to ourselves that we would never dream of saying to anyone else.

In this week's podcast, I will be shining a light on all of the above and much more. It's called I didn't Know That, Did You? because we generally are not aware of how much we measure who we think we are by what we either do or don't have and the effect that can have on our life.

Stuff is great, and having what you desire is wonderful, but when you don't achieve what you desire it can have a very negative effect on you and that's not your main purpose in life.  It's to have the best life you can, to be happy, fulfilled, and whole, it’s to put yourself in a place where you can grow your consciousness.

But how do you ever get to a place where you can let go of all the BS that you may have been carrying around if you don't even know it's there?
