FEAR - False evidence appearing real.
According to Psychology Today, the most common fears are: Flying, Public Speaking, Heights, Darkness, Intimacy, Death, Failure, Rejection, Spiders, and Commitment. I would add fear of: Falling, Sickness, Germs, Harmed, Success, and Crowds.
There are levels of fear (Trepidation, Nervousness, Anxiety, Dread, Desperation, Panic, Horror, Terror).
Fear can be DEBILITATING and humiliating.
WHERE can it come from? Experiences, Parents, etc.
What it's really about is the loss of control - but we were born FEARLESS!
How can you manage? Reverse Talk/Logical conversations with self/others. Breathe. Plan for the worst possible outcome. Pray. Recite scriptures.
What things are you going to COMMIT to working on in the upcoming year?
