I discuss attachment theory and the importance of authenticity and connection in relationships. I argue that in the queer community need to create our own norms and standards for relationships based on attachment theory I talk about how evolution has designed humans to survive rather than be happy, but advancements in intelligence, culture, and society may be part of natural selection. Imperfections are necessary for improvement, as our struggles may ultimately lead us to a better future.
