Today, I was in the middle of my workout when my phone kept ringing.
Spam calls. Interruptions. Little disruptions pulling me out of my peace.
I noticed myself getting irritated — not because the calls mattered,
but because I kept abandoning myself to check them.
Then I remembered something simple and important:
I had a choice.
I could turn the phone off.
I could stop being available by default.
And nothing burned down when I did.
This episode is a reflection on boundaries, self-trust, and the quiet power of choosing yourself — especially after years of being “on” for everyone else.
This podcast is for Gen X+ women who have been strong for a long time — and are starting to feel what it’s costing them.
If this moment felt familiar, you’re not alone here.
