KSL NewsRadio has obtained a letter from a Salt Lake City school board member, in which she appears to give a potentially political reason for keeping students at home.
Salt Lake City School Boardmember Katherine Kennedy said that her decision to vote with 5 other members to postpone the start of school and transition all students to online learning beginning in September was done in part because she believes the current CDC guidelines aren't based on science, but have been influenced by the Trump administration as a way to help him get re-elected.
