I lived in the middle of nowhere. There were no hotels, major brands, or any other fun activities close to where I lived. As you can expect, it got pretty boring. The only fun activities were playing cricket out on the field, or going over to a friend's house. But you can only do that so many times before it starts to get repetitive and boring. So, my friends and I decided we needed to do something new. We needed to go on our own little adventure. We decided it would be fun to hike out in the wilderness, up in the mountains, and after persuading our parents for ages, and after we promised to behave and stay safe, they finally said yes.
