In this weeks episode of EduKATE, I take a trip down memory lane, tracking the last 24 years of major tech and social advancements in my lifetime and talk about about the types of technology that have shaped me into who I am today. From the early days of the Nintendo DS chatrooms, navigating the confusing social worlds of Bebo --> Facebook --> Instagram --> TikTok, there's a lot to reflect upon, in such a comparably small amount of time. A LOT HAS HAPPENED, AND IT'S HAPPENED VERY QUICKLY - WOAH. This is a playful episode with scatterings of retrospective observational reflections, musing over the addictiveness and utter reliance we all now have with technology today. Do we really have agency over our own lives here when such big tech is involved in all aspects of our lifestyles?!
