Dreia is going to start us off with the Skoptsy Cult that was started in the 1700s in Russia by a man that had delusions of being Jesus. He believed that human genitalia were essentially the root of all evil and needed to be removed – can you see where we’re going with this?

If the Skoptsy Cult isn’t enough to ruin your day, well we’ve got another bummer coming your way. Maggie’s cult this week is The Children of God (also known as The Family International). Instead of avoiding sex, this cult was all about having sex – and they did not discriminate based on age, if you know what we mean.

Things get pretty rough this episode, and it’s not just our mispronunciation of names and places. Here’s the part where we add in a trigger warning for talk of some pretty explicit sexual content.
