On one of the most important days as a psychology student in college, I was running late, as always. I had been caught up painting my latest work in my dorm. I still had paint all over my hands, and I didn’t get the chance to change the dirty -shirt I had been wearing, but my classmates had probably seen me looking worse. At that moment I just needed to run.

I burst in through the door and went straight to my usual seat, next to a few of my friends who also studied psychology. The teacher was just now walking in, so I got lucky.

“The day has arrived, my dear students, to decide on your final experiment.” She said.

This was my favorite part of the course. We did experiments all over campus pretty often, but they were mild ones or ones that had been done before. This time, we got to design our own experiment, and we could make it as crazy as we wanted to, as long as it was ethical. My friends and I turned to each other grinning. We had been waiting for this since it was first announced weeks ago.

“So what do you guys have in mind?” I asked them excitedly. Their expressions dropped immediately.
