The relationship between sacrifice, atonement, and doing God’s will unfolds throughout Scripture in parallel stories of creation, failure, and redemption. While God established the sacrificial system in Leviticus, His ultimate desire was for His people to do His will with pure hearts. Yeshua, whose sacrifice was uniquely motivated by perfect obedience and endless love, provided permanent atonement and the power to transform believers. Through His sacrifice, believers are now called to live holy lives, empowered by God’s Spirit to follow His instructions written on their hearts.
