In this lesson, we turn to the subject of worship. What is worship and why do we do it? When considering these questions, it's always important to remember that worship starts and ends with God. Worship is God calling, gathering, enlightening, forgiving, feeding, and sending. Worship most loses its meaning and significance when those who are worshiping imagine that the focus is on them instead of on God.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Many Blessings!

Psalm 46.1-3 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult. (NRSV)
