The gang talk about some of the best movies they've seen recently in cinemas, including Blue Heron, The Christophers, Disclosure Day, Erupcja, Hen, The Invite, Nino, Scary Movie 6 and Tuner. We also re-litigate Hokum and Lee Cronin's The Mummy, as Andrew wasn't a fan. Then, Andrew and Stephen recommend some Blu-rays. Full details about these below:

In this week's episode of I Know That Face, we're trying out a new format: Movie Hot Takes! Who is the true king of sci-fi, Denis Villeneuve or James Cameron? Which Oscar-winning director is overrated? Are films too long now? Are most sequels better than the original? We hash out these questions, and more, while also providing some cool film recommendations, as usual.

Inspired by post-Christmas and post-Christmas gifts, Andrew and Stephen are showing off some of their favourite Blu-rays and DVDs, all the while trying to convince Katie to join them on their physical journey. Andrew and Stephen's picks range from a horror that the BBC banned, another spooky flick described as 'IT for old people', films that inspired Ben Affleck's The Town and Vince Gilligan's Pluribus, and a movie that Stephen calls one of his favourites of the 21st century.

We're back with a brand new episode! Hosts Andrew, Katie and Stephen head to the heat of the Mississippi Delta and plenty of other warm places too, in covering Delroy Lindo. The acclaimed character actor is perhaps best known for his roles in David Mamet's Heist, Spike Lee's Da 5 Bloods, The Core and Gone in 60 Seconds. He was also recently nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his scene-stealing turn in Ryan Coogler's record-breaking Sinners. Before they get into Lindo's career, the hosts discuss their recent watches, including Emerald Fennell's film adaptation of Wuthering Heights and RTÉ's new show These Sacred Vows.

Hosts Andrew Carroll, Katie McGrath and (a slightly late) Stephen Porzio discuss their most anticipated movies of 2026, from massive sure-to-be-blockbusters like Dune Part 3 and The Odyssey, to other box office hopefuls like Steven Spielberg's Disclosure Day, Zach Cregger's Resident Evil and the Tom Cruise-starring Digger, to smaller genre and homegrown fare. Listen to find out about what upcoming franchise spin-off filmed in a Dublin City bar, what crime drama once banned in Ireland has become a valuable piece of IP, or what soon-to-be-released thriller Stephen thinks could be a secret sequel.

It's the end of the year, and Andrew and Stephen are joined by Katie McGrath once again to talk about the year in movies and the career of Irish character actor David Wilmot. The gang chat about such 2025 hits as 28 Years Later, F1, Sinners and the just-released Avatar: Fire and Ash. There are also some sneak previews of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, Marty Supreme, as well as a French film called Flush, where a man gets his head stuck in the toilet. After each picking our top five movies of the year, we turn to David Wilmot and his work in Irish films that defined the 21st Century, such as Intermission, Calvary, The Guard, Lies We Tell and Shadow Dancer.

This week on I Know That Face, Andrew and Stephen take each other to task over their recent Letterboxd reviews, discussing everything from the new movies The Running Man and Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, upcoming releases like Primate, to all five Twilight films. Stephen also argues that TV is officially back, thanks to The Chair Company and Pluribus. After this, we take on the career of Kerry Condon, Tipperary's most famous export. Oscar-nominated for her role in Martin McDonagh's The Banshees of Inisherin, she has been acting since the '90s, appearing in shows like Better Call Saul and Rome, as well as films like Unleashed, F1, In the Land of Saints and Sinners, and the just-released Train Dreams.

The spooky season don't stop on I Know That Face. Assisted again by scream queen Katie McGrath, we talk about what we're watching this Halloween. This includes the middle movies in the Halloween franchise, bad remakes of Pulse and The Thing, slashers like Cherry Falls and Wes Craven's My Soul to Take, as well as '80s cult classic Dead and Buried. Following that is our discussion of Irish actress Ruth Negga's career from its beginnings in the homegrown thrillers Isolation and Trafficked to her Oscar-nominated role in Loving. We also touch on Negga's more recent fare, such as Ad Astra and Passing.
