Joseph was fully aware of the evil done against Him without cause, yet He did not complain. He endured betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment without murmuring or lamenting his situation. Scripture never records Joseph complaining because he understood where he belonged and trusted the purpose of God in his life.

Those who constantly complain and murmur about their circumstances often reveal a lack of vision for their future or a lack of spiritual maturity to understand that God is in control—even in suffering.
