In questo episodio scopriamo come un sigaro di cattiva qualità abbia giocato un ruolo chiave in uno degli esperimenti più iconici della meccanica quantistica: l'esperimento di Stern e Gerlach, che consentì di dimostrare sperimentalmente l'esistenza della quantizzazione spaziale e di determinare se la meccanica quantistica fosse la descrizione giusta del mondo atomico.
