I met Jess in the party scene in my early 20s. Her presence always captivated everyone in the room, and confidence seemed to drip off of her. A decade later I found out that she was in recovery from meth, and later found out that she turned to drugs because of lack of confidence and self-acceptance. In this episode she shares not only about her struggle and recovery from meth, but also her journey of self-acceptance.
