Who would've thought that Boris Johnson resigning in the UK wouldn't have been the biggest political story of the day.
A ex-military man marches up being ex-PM Shinzo Abe and puts 2 in him from a homemade gun.
Unheard of in living memory and especially shocking as its happened in Japan where gun laws are SO strict that it is almost impossible to own a weapon.
The ex-PM was drumming up support for his party the LDP and as usual with these rallies he's up on a soapbox giving his speech with minimal security,the likes which will be changed when the dust settles.
