One of the most convicting songs we sing is “I Surrender All”. Consider the first verse: “All to Jesus I surrender, All to Him I freely give; I will ever love and trust Him, In His presence daily live.” The line that is, personally, the most convicting is “all to Him I freely give”. When we sing that song we must reflect on what we are freely giving to God and what we are greedily withholding from God.
