Talking to your child about mental health can be challenging, especially when you are talking about their own challenges. Children and young adults may look at all of these myths and stigmas we talked about last week, and become insecure about their own challenges. This ultimately results in an insecure and defensive situation when you or another trusted individual try and talk to your child about mental health. In the end, open communication is key when it comes to your child and their challenges, but sometimes it is difficult to achieve without problems. In this episode, our crew talks about their relationship with this phenomenon and how they were able to navigate through it. Enjoy!
