I was a reluctant leader as a member of the L.A. Sheriff's Dept. I gook the leap and self educated myself on leadership. I took advantage of the leadership opportunities the department offered me. Don't be a reluctant leader like me. Take the lead in whatever position you are in. Family, friends, business and community offer the opportunity for leadership if we will take it.
