This is the twenty-first episode of Season 2 of The Broke Architect Podcast! This show is brought to you by the Global Architect Alliance (GAA).
I have with me today Luke Roberts who is an architectural designer, who has a practice called Storyboard Design. He set up Storyboard Design in 2022 because he is passionate about sustainable design and wanted to help homeowners and self-builders do design better homes for their well-being and for the planet.
In this episode, we talk about dyslexia and how to navigate your way through University. We hear Luke's horrific stories of his time in practice both as a Part 1 and Part 2 architectural assistant. We cover bullying, low pay, unpaid overtime, childcare issues relating to flexible working post-COVID and struggles with mental health and anxiety.
