In Ruth 1:15–22, Ruth chooses covenant loyalty over comfort and faith over familiarity. She binds herself not only to Naomi, but to Naomi’s God, stepping forward into an uncertain future with quiet courage. At the same time, Naomi returns to Bethlehem honestly naming her grief and bitterness before the LORD.
