Can't Call Your Mom with Nicole Weston

I will no longer serve my family from an empty cup with Cheryl Cairns-Hill

Listen Later

Cheryl is a mom of 5 children and has experienced the challenges of mental health her entire life which was then exacerbated with postpartum depression & postpartum OCD after giving birth to her second child.  Cheryl suffered in silence because she thought there was something wrong with her, and I never want anyone to suffer in silence again. Cheryl  believes that it takes a village to raise a child, we are not meant to do this alone.

Cheryl and I dive deep into how she navigated the early years of raising 5 children and why she is so passionate about maintaining a daily practice of self care now. Cheryl states she has experienced massive shifts in her mindset and learned how to challenge her "inner critic".  “By taking time every day to offer myself love, compassion and forgiveness I have created an overflow for my loved ones so that I am no longer trying to serve them from an empty cup.

Cheryl wants to continue the conversation around the value and benefits of having a daily self care practice/ritual and how it has helped her in taking back her power and learn how to love herself.
