Orphans are children who have lost both their mothers and fathers although the United Nations classifies a child who has lost either parents as an orphan.

Children who have lost a parent have an empty spot in thier hearts which needs to be addressed in recovery. Jesus who has returned to the Father has reconciled us to our heavenly Father as he has said. He has adopted us.
