Jesus Christ our savior, healer, and deliverer has defeated the enemy and destroyed his works. True believers must grasp an understanding that we have the victory over all his tactics and have the power to resist him as we submit to God and his ways of doing things. We are to stand on his Word, be lead by his Holy Spirit, and pray for one another. The writer shares some of his tactics that he uses to distract our focus and hinder our progress. But discovering these and others by knowing his MO (method of operation of kill, steal, or destroy) can one address the issues and keep moving forward. These are not by any means all but becoming aware that the enemy does exist and a true believer is not helpless or powerless can encourage one to conquer and remain victorious and keep going forward.
