Today we discuss creating a sacred place is. First of all, what is a sacred space? it is a defined place, a space distinguished from other spaces. A helpful metaphor of sacred space as a "focusing lens." A sacred place focuses attention on the forms, objects, and actions in it and reveals them as bearers of religious meaning.

How do you create a sacred space?

You can get started creating a sacred space by following a few easy steps:

  1. Define what "sacred" means to you. Do you need a space for yoga, meditation, or spiritual connection? 
  2. Keep it simple and minimal 
  3. Create your own organic altar. 
  4. Surround yourself with inspirational icons. 
  5. Create a ritual.
  6. Commun in your space
