Platinum Games just launched a highly successful kickstarter for The Wonderful 101 Remastered. The project netted about 2.2 million dollars as they push forward with porting the game. Considering that some of these developers are usually backed by major publishers we question the very nature of this idea which involves kickstarting dream projects as a major studio. We look at prior history, kickstarters that didn't deliver on the promises and the very nature of how feedback is delivered in the process.
