The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa, ICASA, is proposing that Sports Broadcast Rights be available as free-to-air for all South Africans. This has seen the Chairman of the PSL, Dr Irvin Khoza, threaten to shut down the league should this proposed regulation be implemented, as 'it would cripple the League.'
