Here's the thing - Bex did not go into this expecting to come out of it going "EVERYEONE SHOULD BE A SHARKS FAN!" but here we are.

I went down a DEEP rabbit hole about the Sharks and their original owners, their current owners, and their captaincies and coaches and everything I said I don't tend to care about.

Why? Because when I went to see if there had been any scandals regarding San Jose Sharks, I kept finding nothing but good things.

Seriously. I DUG for gossip.

I lied last week - this isn't the last episode about the history and traditions of the MNHL teams. I went down a DEEP rabbit hole about San Jose, so this week we are focusing on 7 of the last 8 teams, and next week is going to be a San Jose heavy episode.

Welcome back to Icing Pucks with Bex and Ryan!

This week we talk Ryan going to his first game Dallas Stars v. San Jose Sharks, plus we cover some news.

Note: Ryan says in the episode that it's Aleksander Barkov's same leg, we have learned since recording that it is other leg. And while we are thankful he is not reinjured the same leg, our stance on player injuries and health remains the same!

Bex wasn't able to find a whole lot at all this week for the Florida Panthers, Ottawa Senators, and the Tampa Bay Lighting. If you're a fan of the teams and you know something I wasn't able to research, let us know! Please!

This week we had the absolute pleasure of having Lacey on to talk all about our favorite mascots! Did you know that Iceburgh was in Sudden Death? Or that Al the Octopus was a callback to the 1952 Stanley Cup Final? What about Chance being a Gila Monster? We have a ton of fun talking all about the mascots and how amazing they all are!

We also touched on internet safety and how easy it is for fans to get addresses. Don't be that fan.
