  • Episode 24: Developing Self Belief and Mental Toughness With IRON Cowboy
When you think about difficult exercise, what comes to mind? Maybe doing sprints, or doing a heavy weight training workout?  How about running a marathon? That's like the pinnacle of mental and physical endurance, right?
Well, not for IRON Cowboy. IRON Cowboy is a full determined father, husband, and triathlete who just completed the impossible...
In 2021, IRON Cowboy completed 100  full-distance triathlon races, in 101 consecutive days... Yep! You heard that right. One full-distance triathlon race consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mike bike ride, and 26.2 mile run. Wow.
Without a doubt, this is the biggest physical and mental strength accomplishment ever. During the race James had a team of people assisting throughout the day. He would have deep tissue work done every night (typically falling asleep during the process) and would eat as much food as possible. James gained media coverage throughout the event and raised money for Operation Underground Railroad to support the fight against human trafficking.
