To Be A Rebel

Ida B Wells | 2 | Passionately Speaking Out Against Lynching and For Justice

Listen Later

This is the second part in our series on Ida B Wells (1862-1931), the anti-lynching and civil rights activist that helped bring awareness to and resistance against the lynching that was occurring during the Reconstruction Period and Jim Crow post-slavery.  We'll dive into the major events of her anti-lynching career and her crusade for justice (no pun intended as that is the name of her auto-biography 😉).
