In 1892, Thomas Moss and two other men were lynched in Memphis. Ida B. Wells, a good friend to Thomas Moss was outraged. So she did what she knew best. She wrote about the lynching and then she challenged the narrative of lynchings, putting the topic at the forefront of discussion in the U.S.
