IDAHO Day on May 17th. It was created in 2004 to draw the attention of policymakers, opinion leaders, social movements, the public and the media to the violence and discrimination experienced by LGBTI people internationally, and is the date it 1990 when the WHO removed it from their list of mental health disorders. Since then it has been called IDAHOT and now Geelong is calling it IDAHOBIT. Today we chat with Bree Michaelas, who is a Workforce Projects Officer at Barwon Health, Guy Tucker, who is in Admin at University Hospital Geelong, and Linda Connor, who is a Grandmother and has had a female partner for many years.
