In His death, burial and resurrection, Christ Jesus became sin for us and took on the punishment for sin. As Christ identified with us to take away our sins and bear the wrath of God on our behalf, we too must identify with the results of His sacrifice- righteousness, authority and all the benefits that accrue with them.
