Verse(s):
John 15:7-8 (KJV)
 7 If ye
abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall
be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much
fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
John 15:7-8 (TPT)
7 But if you live in life-union with me and if my words[a] live powerfully[b] within you—then you can ask
whatever you desire and it will be done. 8 When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate
that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!
Our goal
is to bear abundant fruit/got to get to the fruit (Harvest)
Identify Your Soil
Jeremiah 4:3 (AMPC) 3 For thus
says the Lord to the men of Judah and to Jerusalem: Break up your ground left
uncultivated for a season, so that you may not sow among thorns.
Breaking up the soil helps us
to see the condition of our hearts
Four types of soil/hearts
were identified
Hard SoilStony SoilThorny SoilGood Soil
Matthew 13:3-9 (KJV)
3 And he spake many things unto them in parables,
saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side,
and the fowls came and devoured them up:
5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much
earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and
because they had no root, they withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up,
and choked them:
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth
fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Hard Soil
19. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and
understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which
was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
Lack of understanding is associated with forgetfulness of
what God has done  (same meaning)
Mark 8: 13-21 (AMPC)
13 And
He went away and left them and, getting into the boat again,
He departed to the other side.
14 Now
they had [[c]completely]
forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them in the boat.
15 And
Jesus [repeatedly and expressly] charged and admonished them,
saying, Look out; keep on your guard and beware of the leaven
of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod [d]and
the Herodians.
16 And
they discussed it and reasoned with one another, It is because
we have no bread.
17 And
being aware [of it], Jesus said to them, Why are you reasoning and saying
it is because you have no bread? Do you not yet discern or understand? Are your
hearts in [a settled state of] hardness?
18 Having
eyes, do you not see [with them], and having ears, do you not hear and perceive and understand
the sense of what is said? And do you not remember?
19 When
I broke the five loaves for the 5,000, how many [[e]small
hand] baskets full of broken pieces did you take up? They said to Him, Twelve.
20 And
[when I broke]
the seven loaves for the 4,000, how many [[f]large provision]
baskets full of broken pieces did you take up? And they said to Him, Seven.
21 And
He [g]kept
repeating, Do you not yet understand?
Not remembering can cause the thing you should have
dominion over to take dominion over you (fowl of the air)
 Stony Soil
20 But he that
received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and
anon with joy receiveth it;
21 Yet hath he
not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or
persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
