As the growth of dysfunctional family, many people are often struggle with their identity even in their old age. If the identity was not an issue for Galtians church, Paul did not have to necessarily emphasize the identity issue to Jewish christians in Galatia. They were still struggling after they were saved. It applies even today’s society, even to many born again Chrisitans. John 3:1-2, See ahow great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. (NASB)
