In developing our identities we are shaped by our upbringing (nature & nurture), culture, and dare I say it society. Many of us Black Women have experienced being questioned at work about the characteristics that make up our identity For Example quietness is mistaken for rudeness, Passion taken as aggression, and then the expectation that we should be a certain way that babysits the fragility of our colleagues/co-workers.

Recently I was sent a Tik-Tok video of a Black Queen discussing her manager informing her that despite her colleagues' efforts he feels she does not like him because she never speaks to him and he has tried everything possible for her to like him. Baring in mind if he speaks to her she responds, she greets him when he greets her.  - I was asked for my view, given this episode explores Identity Politics it seems fitting that we then discuss this further within this episode.
