Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish (or cast off restraint)..." Every person who has ever been conceived, was fashioned by God Himself in the secret place. He intimately wove us together. He formed our personalities and our identity. Since the time we were born, our enemy has been attempting to undermine & cancel out God's identity in us.
