The Expert to Help the Idiots series is a dedicated spin-off from the Idiots Go Running podcast, created to answer the questions every runner asks — usually after they’ve already made the mistake.

As we prepare for our biggest challenge yet — running 350 miles from Mizen Head to Malin Head — we realised something important: we don’t need more motivation… we need smarter guidance.

This series brings in genuine experts to help us (and you) understand the parts of running that really matter — mental strength, recovery, nutrition, fuelling, training structure, injury prevention, and performance habits — all explained in a way that normal runners can actually use.
